Mt Eccles Angus is a family operated beef cattle enterprise owned and operated by Rob and Katherine Addinsall and their children Jack and Zoe.
Mt Eccles Estate has been operating to 30 years buying and selling cattle with our aim to
produce strong lines of cattle with great temperaments, huge weight gain and meet the
demands in the current market. The need for top quality bulls at reasonable prices were
hard to find. So, in 2020 we established Mt Eccles Angus and calved down our first
registered Stud Angus calves. Our aim is to breed bulls with temperament, calving ease and growth, through the use of top sires.
Our stud was based on a line of Lawson, Stoney Point, Rossander, and Millah Marrah bulls, to provide good framed calves, great temperament and good growth. We have been using our own bred bulls since 2021 in our commercial angus herd, producing top lines of weaners with huge growth rated sold direct to processors and feeder cattle to feedlots.
We now have the ability to offer a line of top-quality bulls with quality traits and
temperaments.
